Irish Dancing and Music!!! It was a lot f fun! You can learn the movements by watching our movements.

In the clases students have been learning about Irish sports: hurling, etc.

CITY TOUR IN DUBLIN

3/24/2014

The guide told us how the city is divided by the river Liffey. We walked over Half Penny Bridge but we didn't have to pay half a penny today.

We learn about some of the main political leaders in Ireland.

The high Spire was built to commemorate the Millenium and it is a landmark in Dublín.

We saw Dublín Castle and rested on the benches of the Royal Chapel, right by the castle.

We ended our excursión today ....shopping!!!

Today, we made our way south of Dublin to Glendalough, a monastery established in the 5th century. After an introductory video, we made our way through the historic sites and then continued on our way to the upper lake to enjoy our lunch. After some beautiful sunshine, the clouds set in creating a mystical ambiance.

This afternoon, the rest of our group arrived from Colmenar Viejo and made it safely to their families for the next week.

Everyone is getting some rest for the big day tomorrow...the start of classes and the Dublin city tour! Tomorrow...more and better!!! Good night from Dublin

Here we are and everything went well. We arrived  20 minutes earlier than expected and the families were waiting for us at the meeting point. Some of the families are the same we had last year so we are really happy with that!

Tomorrow we will be visiting Glendalough and we hope to have nice weather... let´s see because today it was really cold.

We are going to upload the pictures of the trip so you can enjoy it with us.

The weather forecast for the upcoming week in Dublin is predicting some RAIN so BE SURE to bring a raincoat and good shoes that will keep your feet dry. Pack those extra socks in case your feet get wet. Just a few days left before the trip!!! See you all tomorrow at break for our meeting!
