UNIT 12: ANCIENT SPAIN
There are some activities or mini projects to develop in this unit. I will explain them in class but I leave you the worksheets in here just in case you forget or you need to print them again.
1. MIND MAP ACTIVITY
BY ANALYSING AND COMMENTING VIDEOS ON PRE ROMAN SPAIN CONTENT
1. Watch the first video I proposse you to see (there are many more in the specific tab of this unit).
2. Talk and discuss with your group about the main topic (and the subtopics) which is/are discussed in the video. What is it about?
3. Watch the video again but this time taking notes. Ask your teacher whenever you need to stop the video for clarification or a further explanation.
5. Make a list of the key words that are the most important key words on the topic you are discussing.
4. Summarize the content.
5. Produce a Mind map in an A3 sheet.
As usual this is a Team activity but everyone has to produce their own mind map at the end of the project...
If there is time enough you will do the same with the second video!!!

2. PRE ROMAN SPAIN FOLDABLE
This is an activity to revise part of the content of this unit: the peoples who colonised the Iberian Peninsula and those peoples who lived in it when that happened. These peoples were influenced by the colonizers (Phoenicians, Greeks and Cartaghinians) during the Iron Age (first millenium BC).
This is a miniproject similar to the one we have worked with the Romans. I want you to elaborate it with the help of the content of the book (in every section you have the specific section of the book from where you can take the information). I will remind you how to make it. And if you have any questions just ask me about.
