THINGS TO SEE IN DUBLIN

To go shopping....Grafton Street

Grafton Street provides a myriad of temptations from the best of Irish and international fashion to Irish gifts and craft ware. Bookended by Trinity College and St. Stephens Green,
the streets and lanes that surround Grafton Street offer shopping delights

This is the street where the Language School is located so we are right in the city centre!

THE SPIRE

The Spire on O’Connell Street isn’t exactly hidden, what is, is the time capsule buried at its foot. Several items including a U2 CD and a menu from the city’s only two-star Michelin restaurant are enclosed.

This will be our spot to meet when we are shopping

THE LIFFEY BRIDGE
Because of the toll that was in place until 1919 – there were turnstiles either side to ensure no one escaped payment – this cast-iron footbridge is more commonly known as the Ha’penny Bridge. Crossing is now free and it will ferry you neatly into Dublin’s cobbled Temple Bar.

We almost forget to say that the river that crosses Dublin is The Liffey.
